Woods Cottage
Woods Cottage is one of the original homesteads of the Kasouga village located along the Sunshine Coast in the Eastern Cape. The self catering cottage has been adapted to the modern way of easy open plan and is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. This holiday accommodation is just a short three minute walk through “The Gap” from the long stretches of beautiful unspoilt beaches that stretch from Kenton in the West to Port Alfred in the East.
The beautiful unspoilt surrounds of the property are a nature lovers dream with the property being frequented by the shy Bushbuck, the minute Blue duiker, Grey duiker, Mountain tortoises and numerous birds. The cry of the fish eagle can be heard on most days while sitting around a fire on the covered veranda.
The house consists of 4 bedrooms and can sleep 11 people comfortably in the house and an additional two people can be accommodated in a rustic outside wooden cottage. There is an inside bathroom with bath, shower, basin and toilet and a shower, basin and toilet lead off from the back covered verandah.
The north facing covered verandah lends itself to relaxing outside family meals and family evenings around a fire. The sea facing covered verandah is the ideal place to relax and smell the sea air while lounging in comfortable chairs.
It is here that families can relax and enjoy the tranquil existence of nature and participate in healthy outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, cycling, sand boarding, river and sea fishing, collecting oysters and mussels, bird watching and game viewing.

- 24 hour security personnel in village
- Fully equipped kitchen which includes stove, oven, microwave, two deep freezers, two fridges.
- Linen and bath towel per bed are provides

- Once on the Kasouga gravel road, drive to Security gate and carry on down Ford Street to 28 Ford Street.
